Dear colleagues,
Before we head into Thanksgiving Break, I wanted to give you the plan for our JMS retreat on December 2nd.
I've attached an agenda to give you a sense of the timing and the sequence, but I also wanted to give you highlights below.
The goals of the gathering are three-fold:
1. To take this opportunity to reconnect as a community (thank you, Regina, for designing activities to foster this)
2. To establish a common base of knowledge and understanding about our programs' curricula, trends, and issues (thank you, Susan, Jack, Steve, and Melissa for leading these discussions)
3. To kick off the conversation about the strengths of the department/opportunities for growth as we plan for the coming years
Breakfast will be available and lunch will be offered for those who can stay. There are a couple of people who will be participating via Zoom, so we have also set up AV to facilitate that.
Please note Regina's request on the attached agenda! It involves finding and bringing with you an object (she's got me thinking - guessing you'll be thinking, too!)
