Hi,
As we approach the final exam period, I would like to thank you for your hard work, and dedication to our students this semester. This may have been the hardest we've had since the start of the pandemic and you more than met the challenges presented. Your tireless efforts on behalf of our students had a significant impact on their education and their lives and for that we are truly grateful. As I've said before, JMS has a highly-regarded, university-wide reputation for great teaching, and great care and we are seen in this light because of you. You take the time to get to know our students and understand that there is more to their lives than what happens in the classroom. Our students, department, school, and the university are better because of it and because of you.
Please make every effort to submit your grades as soon as possible. Please don't wait for the last minute to turn them in. As you should have seen in an email yesterday, "Failure to submit grades on time will cause the Term Grade Reports to be incomplete. Failure to observe the grade submission dates will impede the certification of January degree candidates, and due to the necessity for manual posting of grades, will delay the issuance of transcripts by the Transcript Department."
Finally, I would like to wish you, your family, and all of your loved ones a very Happy, Healthy, Wealthy, and Peace-Filled Holiday Season and New Year.
Steve
