Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday for one or two are all three of the JMS day events!

We had an incredible series of events for students and families. And thanks to everyone involved in the event productions but especially Jordan! She couldn’t control the rain, but all of the logistics ran smoothly because of her.

I think would be great to make this our ongoing site for images for future slideshows and such. Whenever you have photos from conferences, classes, events, etc. please consider uploading them soon afterwards.

Also, a reminder that we do have one department meeting left this semester. If you have any reports, please send them to Jordan in the next few hours (by 1pm at the latest) so we can all go to Honors Day with this in place.

In advance of our last department meeting of the semester, I’m requesting advanced written reports from program directors/coordinators, committee chairs, and other leaders/reps. We will then spend the one hour discussing matters raised in those reports as needed.

If you are the person who presents the below reports and want to be on the agenda, please forward a report to Jordan Meyers <jam930@comminfo.rutgers.edumailto:jam930@comminfo.rutgers.edu> by Friday May 5 noon. Jordan will then assemble them and send out with the agenda and meeting link. If you have no report, that’s fine.

If you have a different agenda item (or I have missed something!) please also let us know by that time. If there are any items that require a vote, please send those to us to ensure they are on the agenda.

As for the focused discussion, we will be returning to our search priorities. Despite not getting approvals for any searches from the Chancellor-Provost’s office yet, Dafna has instructed chairs to continue shaping the potential search areas before summer.
