Dear PM1 Staff
My name is Varun Mishra, my netID is vpm31, and I am in section 6.
On Project 1, for part 2, it says I can test my code by compiling with the
Makefile and passing in parameters of the PNG picture of my choice.
How do I pass the parameters for the PNG image to the Makefile so that I
can test my code? Is there a specific command line instruction?
This is John Allen Manego netid jdm394 in section 4. I have a question regarding the project. In the prompt of mult, add and subtract function the prompt says "Note: This memory must be freed when you're done using it.*****". So when we free the result in the function we cant return it so where do we free the result or how ? do we free it in the main function? Thank you for having the time reading this and have a good day.

To whom I may concern,
I received a email form ODS to reschedule the date and time for the
Programing Methodology exam on April 13th. Since I do have another exam on
that date from 12:30-2:30, it would be preferable to take it the day after
at 12:10. If there are any concerns please let me know.
I am struggling to install the necessary software to compile the C code on
my windows machine. I have a really busy week coming up so I was looking to
get this project done now, and I followed the instructions to the best of
my ability as they were provided, but I don't know why my machine does not
see the "make" command or the "gcc" command. I installed the C compiling
tools at the link provided in the explanation, and I also installed the
C/C++ Essentials and Makefile extensions in VSCode. If anyone is able to
provide me guidance on what I need to do differently so I can get the work
done, that would be greatly appreciated! The hardest part of programming
for me is setting up the environment.
I was informed by a TA yesterday that Project 1 will be extended by a week.
But the professor said that the project will be due on April 3rd which is
this coming Monday. I just wanted to confirm what the due date is for
To whom I may concern,
I hope you are doing well today. I am not available for the posted office
hours today, so is it possible to schedule office hours for tomorrow to
discuss running the code for the project?
I was having a problem where I get an error message when I run the
"imageutil.c" file where it says, "'stb.image.h' file not found." How would
I be able to fix this?
