*Summary:* The union representing instructors and faculty members at Rutgers is suing the university alleging that it was stonewalled when requesting documents relating to the finances of the univeristy's athletics program. The union, AAUP-AFT, said its interested in the "financial stability of Rutgers and the decision-making that affects that financial stability," according to the lawsuit filed in Middlesex County Superior Court on July 17.
