*Summary: “T*he U.S. House of Representatives is considering a controversial bill that would amend the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) to strengthen union power and create stiffer penalties for employers that interfere with workers' collective bargaining rights. The Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/house-bill/2474/text, H.R. 2474, was introduced by Rep. Bobby Scott, D-Va. Proponents of the bill say it will strengthen workers' rights and help employees secure better wages and working conditions.
