NATIONAL | August 1, 2006 Colorado Governor Signs Immigration Law By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS Gov. Bill Owens, a Republican, signed into law immigration measures that could force one million people now receiving state and federal benefits to prove that they are American citizens.
