BUSINESS | November 21, 2006 Ball Maker: Nike Move Could Cost Jobs By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (AP) -- Nike Inc.'s decision to cancel orders from a Pakistan-based supplier of hand-stitched soccer balls due to labor violations could cost the company more than 4,000 jobs, its general manager said Tuesday.
