Firstly, would yo be willing to share your policy.
Secondly, there British Columbia has an online tool. This is Canadian
but it is very accessible. Saskatchewan is going to come out with a tool
but not a list. The problem with lists is that, as you know, many new
foods are developed each year and food products continuously change so
it is hard to keep current.

Subject: [Sneeze_l] Foods of Minimal Nutritional Value
Hello all,
I am serving on a school district's wellness committee. We are getting
presentations and packets ready for the staff, students and parents on
the new policy and how to implement it. One thing that we would like to
have is a list of products that meet the national standards and could be
offered in schools. Ideally, this list should be user friendly for
Principals to give to their teachers, but also to groups that run the
concession stands and coaches and teachers that run fund-raisers;
however, if there is a comprehensive list I'd like to know about that
too.
I'm sure this must be a dynamic list with products being reformulated to
meet the new standards; new products being developed and others that
become obsolete. I think food production companies and food
distributors might have a list already prepared, or that somewhere on
the web there is a magic link to find a list that is updated on a
regular basis.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Glenda
