We are seeking to form a new SNEB Division! The Research Division will provide our members with new opportunities to share, learn and build capacity on research topics and methodologies.
During the recent JNEB retreat, a suggestion was made to initiate the formation of a Research Division for SNEB. In attendance at the meeting were Adrienne White (SNEB President), Karen Chapman-Novakofski (JNEB Editor-in-Chief), Laura Bellows (JNEB Journal Committee Chair), JNEB Associate Editors - Susan Johnson, Bret Luick, Julie Reeder, Madeleine Sigman-Grant and Chris Taylor along with Rachel Daeger (SNEB Executive Director). All concurred with this suggestion.
Madeleine Sigman-Grant AND Laura Bellows have agreed to serve as the lead co-chairs for this Division until members can select their representatives.
To comply with SNEB protocols for formation of a new Division, we are notifying members via email. Attached is the completed form stating the name, objectives and justification for this action. In order for the request to be forwarded to the SNEB Board of Directors for final approval, 50 signatures are needed.
If you are in agreement with the creation of this new SNEB Research Division, please complete the Survey Monkey questionnaire:
In order to move this proposal forward this year, replies are needed by Nov. 10.
Thank you in advance for your attention to this request!
