The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) Coordinator Senior serves as the lead person responsible for EFNEP in Clark County. The position's main responsibilities include paraprofessional educator supervision, maintaining community partner relationships and policy system and environmental change implementation to support healthy lifestyles. Duties: This position uses independent judgment to organize, coordinate, and evaluate EFNEP programming. The Coordinator Senior works closely with the EFNEP State Leader, other Extension staff and community partners in developing the program to ensure that activities meet the requirements of the NIFA EFNEP Policy Guidelines. With this funding source, WSU EFNEP teaches youth and adults with limited incomes to develop skills and behaviors to eat healthfully. This position works closely with the Clark SNAP-Ed Coordinator Supervisor to ensure coordinated programming. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant extension program discipline and 3 years of related program experience. A Masters degree in a related field may be substituted for up to one year of the required experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. While using a private vehicle for official business, the successful candidate must have current automobile liability insurance (meeting the requirements described in RCW 46.30.020<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__app.leg.wa.gov_RCW_defa…> and RCW 46.29.090<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__app.leg.wa.gov_RCW_defa…> ) and possess a valid driver's license. Must be able to work evenings and weekends. Must have reliable transportation, and the ability to travel year-round.
